Conversion Questionaire: For the following questions, please model your answers after Paul’s conversion story to King Agrippa in Acts 26:4–23. In this section, you will see that Paul’s story includes who he was before he became a Christian, how he met Jesus, and how his life has changed after becoming a Christian. He concludes his account by giving a statement of his beliefs. If you are a Christian, give an account of how you came to faith using no more than ¾ page:
Finish the following statement using no more than ¼ page: I KNOW I AM A CHRISTIAN BECAUSE...
Please check, I acknowledge that I have carefully read the following GLC documents:
These documents are available on our "What We Believe" page. It is not necessary to read the whole Constitution. The purpose in looking at it is so that you know what it contains in case you should ever need to consult it.
Constitution
Covenant
Statement of Faith
I agree to live, teach, and provide counsel in accordance with and not contrary to these documents. My responsibility will be to notify the Gospel Life Church Elders if at anytime I can no longer commit to these documents, or if I have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding Gospel Life Church.
The leadership at Gospel Life Church realizes that it is not necessary to agree on every point. Thus, we hold to the closed-hand/open- hand model of prioritizing doctrine. The Membership Covenant and the Statement of Faith have been written so as to emphasize closed-handed doctrines, or those doctrines which are clearly stated in Scripture. The leadership of Gospel Life Church does not wish to ask anyone to violate their conscience, but we do ask for the opportunity to further explain when a disagreement occurs or when a fuller explanation is called for.

Gospel Life Church seeks to intentionally and meaningfull y obey the many one-another commands found in the New Testament. Our agreed upon expression of obedience to these commands is what we call Gospel Community or Community Group. Gospel Communities meet once a week for the purpose of speaking the Gospel into each other’s lives. The leadership of Gospel Life Church asks that each member be committed to one Gospel Community at a time. This allows for better accountability, facilitates transparency, and allows the Gospel Community leader to clearly understand who is under his care. Priority is given to placing members in Gospel Community where they already have relationships. Consideration is also given to where the most potential growth will take place.
